As time permits I also instruct with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) teaching outdoor and leadership skills in remote wilderness settings, provide sea kayaking and snow travel skills instruction locally, and I have also co-authored the classic sea kayaking guidebook for northwest waters, ‘Kayaking Puget Sound, The San Juans and Gulf Islands’ published by The Mountaineers.
My formal education includes an MBA from Boston University, a BA from Colgate University. I attended Wesleyan University pursuing post-graduate studies in the application of computer technology. Most recently I achieved a certificate in permaculture design.
Currently I live in Seattle, Washington, USA where a multitude of cultural and outdoor recreation
activities abound.
